The problem with TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms)

Is that they mean different things to different people! What does CBT mean to you? I was in a 'vanilla' work meeting when someone propsed 'CBT as the cheapest and best way to get people do what you want them to do, in the way you want them to do it...' He was of course advocating Computer Based Training, although he could just as well have meant Cognitive Behavioral Therapy..... or bearing in mind the target group were all male, the Urban Dictionary definition might have been the best (Cock and Ball Torture of course!!!) And as for the computer system Sainsburys called SCAT.... No comment!
