The Pope resigned this week, and gave his resignation speech in Latin, which some people objected to. Maybe he was simply trying to ensure that no-one was unfairly disadvantaged in that Latin is no-one's first language.
So, in keeping with this sentiment, my thought of the day is:
'Etiam si omnes, ego non'
(Even if all others do, not me).
