Well - sapphire and I did go to the ball - or rather the opera courtesy of a suitable submissive who will remain nameless for obvious reasons.............
The opera was excellent - I would recommend it should it ever be repeated as alas it's run is now over. We caused quite a stir - but really - what do they expect one to wear when one attends an opera such as 'The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant'?
Just because my beautiful forties style cocktail dress was made of pink rubber, and angel was wearing her collar and lead (to ensure we didn't get separated in the crowd!), we attracted quite a lot of attention - luckily all of it favourable - it was amazing the number of ladies who came up and asked where our outfits came from............
It reminded me of another time when I went to see 'Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens' (a fetish musical) wearing a full length rubber skirt and a metal bra. One of the support cast, who was from Madame JoJo's, called me 'the lady with the titanium tits'. I wish! I didn't have the heart to say that they were actually
polished mild steel.................
We are now planning our outfits for our next formal outing - Ladies Day at Ascot...............
