My shower rail finally gave up the ghost this week, so a trip to Screwfix was in order. They provided a lovely new unit - complete with instructions (yes, I read instructions first!!!), and nice list of the tools required, just to make the job easy..... Screw driver, Aiguille.... Aiguille???? I may not be the world's greatest DIYer but I was pretty sure I hadn't seen a section in B&Q labelled 'Aiguilles' recently. So in true modern fashion I looked it up on the internet, where I found two definitions:-
1. A sharp needle like peak of rock
2. A slender boring tool.
Hmm, unlikely to be sharp piece of rock, unless they were aiming the instructions at Fred Flintsone, A slender boring tool? I have several toys in the dungeon that would fit that description - but none of which are likely to assist in putting a shower rail up. On balance I think they meant a drill!
