I don't usually use my blog to promote events, but if you are in London on Friday night in the next few weeks, get yourself down to Street Feast (nearest overground station is Haggeston). Set in an old merchant yard on Friday nights until the end of June, it is home to the best street food in London. It's THE place to sample the amazing Ben Spalding's 'Stripped Back' pop up restaurant, fantastic Bleecker Street burgers, gorgeous cocktails at The Gin Store with the lovely Cathy and her staff, Mama Jerk Chicken - I could rave on forever - there is so much to try! Fantastic atmosphere and music. Don't forget to take home a box or two of Joe's tea - the Chocca Roo Brew is delicious- as is Joe (OK to say he is delicious is probably politically incorrect, but I didn't want to use 'lovely' again because Anne, my creative writing teacher would not be impressed!) and you must grab yourself a Holy Fuck cupcake (you'll know why when you taste it ;-)
