Oxygen reservation fee?

I'm in the process of booking my holiday flights with Ryanair (honestly I had no choice!) and thought I had better check their charges very carefully..... And there tucked away was the optional charge of 100 euros for oxygen reservation!!!! I have visions of their cabin crew snatching away the masks just as the aircraft goes into a terminal dive...
